The Digital Audio Library services at Institute for Vision Rehabilitation, LV Prasad Eye Institute was set-up in 2010 to provide audio books for all its beneficiaries from across the country. Available in mp3 format, the books recorded here are meant for academics, including state and central syllabus, competitive exams and leisure. Some of the books are even sent to district and state level government schools on request. The books are provided in various languages such as English, Hindi, Telugu, Sanskrit, Marati, Bengali, etc. The voice-lending is done by over 950 enthusiastic volunteers from different facets of society such as retired personnel, corporate employees, college students, etc.
