SOL has subscribe for associate membership of Sugamya Pustakalaya of DFI. Sugamya Pustakalaya” is an online platform that makes accessible content available to print-disabled people. Sugamya Pustakalaya is a facilitating platform for producers of accessible content to jointly work by DFI and producing and providing accessible books to people with print disabilities. Users can access a collection of over 2, 30,000 books, maintain their individual reading shelves online and also download books in chosen formats. The UGC guidelines are aimed towards providing necessary accessibility and facilities, equipment’s and academic material to visually impaired students. The SOL has established an Equal Opportunity Cell in Library (EOC) an Enabling Unit will be provide Sugamya Pustakalaya service to the eligible students.
